Meet our Nutrition Coaches

Major and Expected Graduation Year:
I am a nutrition and food science major with a concentration in dietetics and a minor in business, graduating in the spring of 2026.
Reason for Studying Dietetics:
I chose dietetics because I have always had an interest in the way nutrition affects every aspect of health. I want to empower others to make confident nutritional choices and have a positive impact in people’s health journeys.
Favorite Food:
My favorite food is tacos! They are delicious, versatile, and easy to make with fresh and healthy ingredients.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

Major and Expected Graduation Year:
I am a dietetics major expecting to graduate in 2026!
Reason for Studying Dietetics:
I chose to study dietetics because while I’ve always loved food, I never understood how my body processed it. I wanted to learn both how to eat for my health and also how to combat nutrition misinformation from the internet.
Favorite Food:
My favorite food is sundubu jjigae, or Korean spicy soft tofu stew! It’s my favorite comfort meal for cold days and is always packed with flavor.

Major and Expected Graduation Year:
I’m a senior Dietetics major and will be graduating with my bachelor’s degree in May 2026.
Reason for Studying Dietetics:
After spending a year studying international affairs and computer science, I took a microbiology course and fell in love with nutritional science. I am planning on becoming a registered dietitian, which aligns with my desire to work directly with other people to make a positive difference in their lives. Considering how common it is to have a poor relationship with food (I’ve certainly been there) along with the constant bombardment of nutrition misinformation, I want to help others realize a way of living in which food supports and adds to their life as opposed to being a source of stress.
Favorite Food:
My favorite food is technically two foods, but the combination is truly unmatched: cherries and dark chocolate. While I’m fond of almost any fruit paired with chocolate, one of my earliest memories is going cherry picking with my sister and parents, so cherries hold a special place in my heart. There is something about eating a sweet, juicy cherry alongside silky, slightly bitter dark chocolate that feels like a religious experience.

Major and Expected Graduation Year:
I’m a Dietetics major and Spanish minor, expected to graduate in 2027.
Reason for Studying Dietetics:
My passion for dietetics began after working with a Registered Dietician (RD) to improve my relationship with food. This experience inspired me to work towards becoming an RD in the future to help others through their own journey.
Favorite Food:
My favorite food is blackberries for their sweet and sour flavor and high antioxidants and fiber content.
