SHAC applications are closed

for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.

If you have questions about SHAC or becoming a SHAC member please contact shac@health.umd.edu. 

All applicants go through an informal interview process with current SHAC members to become better acquainted with the organization. Applications for 13-14 are currently closed. Stay tuned for 14-15 applications in the spring of 2014. We strongly encourage any major to apply, especially those outside of life sciences. SHAC does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, disability or ethnicity.

As a member of SHAC, are expected to attend weekly meetings and participate in SHAC's events and programs. SHAC members are ambassadors of the University Health Center and are expected to represent the UHC at a variety of outreach events.

SHAC applications are accepted annually in the Spring Semester for the following academic year.
