Volunteer Program [New Changes]
A Vital Link at The University Health Center
The University Health Center Volunteer Program was established to provide students with an opportunity to gain experience working in a health care setting and to provide exposure to working with a variety of health care professionals. In return the Health Center benefits from the support the volunteers provide, increasing the effective delivery of health care services to the campus community.
The University Health Center recruits and places student volunteers in several areas of the UHC:
- Dental (only pre-dental students)
- Health Promotion
- Laboratory
- Medical Records
- Pharmacy (only pre-pharmacy students)
- Physical Therapy (only pre-physical therapy students)
- Urgent Care/Primary Care 1
