How to Obtain Condoms at the University Health Center

Are you an individual who needs condoms?

Here's what you can do:

  • Come into the University Health Center and ask for free condoms at the Pharmacy, or
  • Go to the Front Desk in the lobby of the University Health Center (or the ground floor desk) and pick up a free handful from the container sitting on the counter.
Due to significant decreases in our condom supplies, we ask that you limit the number of condoms that you pick up so that they are available to others, as well.
    Or,
  • Remember, the Health Center Pharmacy sells condoms at a reduced rate.

Are you part of a group/residence hall and you need condoms for a program or event?

Condoms are available in bulk packages of 50 (for free) at the ground floor reception desk in the University Health Center. All bulk packages must be signed for.

Who is eligible? If you are a University recognized student group, fraternity, sorority or residence hall you may obtain a package from the Health Center. Supply dictates whether or not you will be granted a bulk quantity.

Questions?

Please contact Alli Matson, Coordinator of Sexual Health Education Programs, at (301) 314-8130 or amatson@health.umd.edu

We would rather that you have condoms and not need them than need them and not have them. But please, be considerate of your fellow Terrapins and only take what you think you may use.
