Physical Therapy
You may be referred to physical therapy by your Health Center physician or by your private physician as a part of your rehabilitation program. The physical therapy department is located on the Ground Floor of the University Health Center.
There are charges for this service as follows:
---Initial evaluation: $75
---Follow-up visit: $50
---"No Show" Charge: $25
If you have the University's Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), charges are covered at 100%. Other insurance plans will reimburse you according to their out-of-network fees.
We do not provide direct billing for physical therapy services to any other health insurance company other than the University's SHIP; all charges are your responsibility. You may request a Walk Out Statement which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your individual insurance company for detailed reimbursement informaton before your appointment.
