Orthopedic/Sports Medicine
Providers are available to evaluate acute and chronic orthopedic conditions related to muscles, bones, and joints. They will also be able to help you develop an individualized rehabilitation program that will fit your condition and specific needs. During the fall and spring semesters, an orthopedic surgeon is available by appointment several times a month. There is a charge for this service.
In most
cases, the patient will initially see the Sports Medicine Physician or a
Physician Assistant. The patient may be referred to the orthopedic
surgeon if they need further evaluation and management of their
condition.
For appointments, please call (301) 314-8184.
