HIV Testing

We offer HIV antibody testing through our laboratory. Appointments are not necessary. Walk-In anytime between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, to be tested.

 

There is a $25 fee for this service. The fee may be billed to the student's account or paid in full at the cashier's window located at the pharmacy.

In addition, the UHC Health Promotions unit offers FREE HIV testing events throughout the year.

Offers: Anonymous or confidential testing for HIV is offered to the general public at all of our sites. HIV testing is free of charge but donations are suggested. 

 

Whitman-Walker Clinic uses a rapid HIV test that delivers results in less than an hour.  Testing is available without an appointment.  Whitman Walker also offers Mobile Testing.  Information about locations, dates and times is available on their website.

 

*Testing is also available at the STD Clinic from 6pm-7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center.

What: Oraquick (rapid) testing is performed-results are available in ~20 minutes. (Oral sample is used; Blood sample obtained by finger stick may be requested by the client if preferred)
